The Basics

A major landmark in Barcelona, the cathedral is featured on nearly every sightseeing excursion, from bicycle tours to tapas crawls. Worshipers can enter for free, while there’s a donation requested for cultural visits, as well as for access to the choir and rooftop terraces, which offer one of the best views over medieval Barcelona. Don’t miss a trip down to the crypt to see the tomb of Santa Eulalia and the reliefs depicting her martyrdom.

Barcelona Highlights and Secrets. Private Tour with a tapa & drink included
We had 3 hours city tour with Jeronimo who is an excellent guide. We went to the most important places with enough degree of flexibility. Jeronimo showed continous friendliness and professionalism. We enjoyed the tour and we learned a lot. Thanks.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
This was wonderful. Montserrat is not to be missed! The only problem was that this is actually 2 different tours put together so you have to go to the office twice at different times. They should combine it!

Aaron was an excellent guide. We had him for both the AM and PM tour. Easy to understand and excellent knowledge. Fast paced, but not feeling rushed. Well organized.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
I hope I don't run out of space. I wish I could give him more stars because he totally deserves it. First, the walking part in the morning with Eduardo was better than FANTASTIC! He gave me so much information like about the flags, St. George, Santa Eulalia, all about Monjuric Casle and so much more. I, as well as many others, had no idea about Valentine's day. Even how Holy week begins. When I mentioned what I learned about picasso people were amazed. I enjoyed the tour soooooo much. When I went on the second part and on a different tour the next day I already knew somethings because we talked about everything. You definitely have to take it and with Eduardo if possible. He even gave me information on other things to do on my visit. Then Gabby in the afternoon was terrific. I enjoyed montserrat mountain. I learned a lot then also, but the view was incredible. So was the view in the morning. And let's not forget the exceptionally great customer service in the morning! What an all around great group of people. Thank you for being a part of and helping to make my visit be a reason to come back.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
Our tour guide was Christine, and she was awesome. She gave the tour in English and Spanish, which was nice since my wife and I speak English and understand most Spanish. Our tour started with a walking tour of the gothic quarter, which is very quaint, and full of history. On the way to Castel Montjuic (a fort/castle near the ocean) via bus, Christine gave us a tour thorough Barcelona and pointed out the history of Barcelona. So much to look at, it was hard to take it all in. We took a cable car gondola to see stunning views of the city. We then visited the castle, the dungeons, and Christine explained the history of it all. We were very impressed with our tour guide and Barcelona in general, and highly recommend this tour!

The Geese of Saint Eulalia

The palm-filled cloister of the Barcelona Cathedral is home to 13 special residents, a flock of geese that have been enjoying the garden and fountains since medieval days. The number of geese is believed to represent the age of Eulalia, the city’s patron saint, at the time she was martyred.
