Rocky Mountain National Park in Summer Tour from Denver
Wonderful, easy day trip to experience Rocky Mountain National Park. Richard was an excellent, thoughtful guide. We saw elk & moose, had an idyllic picnic in a beautiful meadow, and had lots of chances to take short trails to viewpoints & scenic vistas.

Watching Elk bucks herding the Elk does. I had never heard an elk buck bugle before. It was quite an experience! I had never been at 12,000 foot elevation before, and was amazed by how thin the air is! Our guide was quite knowledgeable, on both the wildlife and geography of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Private Three Hour Afternoon Custom Tour of Rocky Mountain National Park
Amazing afternoon tour! We were traveling with a baby and Bruce was beyond accommodating. We just strapped the car seat into his vehicle and we were off! We were able to stop whoever we wanted and loved being able to learn way more about the park than if we were just on our own. Many thanks for a wonderful day in Estes!

The whole dang thing was memorable, but the thing that takes the cake was how great Kyle was as our tour guide. If an elk we're about to run me down, I know Kyle would have been there to save me.

When to Get There

Alpine wildflowers fill the valleys in spring, and cross-country skiers hit the slopes here in winter. Summer is the most popular time to visit—and thus the most crowded—but all seasons offer outdoor activities and access to unbridled nature.
