You’ll meet your guide at JR Ibaraki station and set out for the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. En route, stop at a cooking studio to prepare your own bento lunch box for your picnic. It’ll take 2.5 hours to take this hands-on takoyaki cooking from scratch. If you make takoyaki with my recipe, the outside will have crunchy texture while the inside is creamy, and it has UMAMI taste even without takoyaki sauce. But I love to eat takoyaki with sauce which is a general way to eat takoyaki too!! In this workshop two kinds of takoyaki will be prepared because I couldn’t choose only one. One is a bit sweet which is similar to original takoyaki sauce, and the other is made with soy sauce base. While we are grilling takoyaki balls, we will make miso soup (soup with miso and Japanese fundamental soup stock), Japanese cucumber salad and black sugar dessert. You might need some practice to make a perfect takoyaki, but don’t worry!! You can grasp the techniques of takoyaki making shortly with my tips with you. After cooking, let's have takoyakia, miso soup, cucumber salad and a Japanese-style sweets, and Osaka coke or mineral water.

This is one of the famous place for tourists, but there is much deeper spot, called "Ura-Namba" This is the hideaway for local people so the guide book might not really mention yet! There are a lot of local Izakaya on the street in Namba. Here is the best spot for bar hopping in Osaka. We can go at least 2 Izakaya, and one more bar or street food stand or Japanese sweets shop. We will choice the place as you like and our recommendation! Many retro Izakaya still remain in this area, they don't have English menu but don't worry! You have local supporter, we will help you and give you unforgettable memories!

Tonkatsu is one of Japanese daily dishes that most locals love. I provide plain and arranged Tonkatsu, you will be able to cook it by yourselves to your family, friends and so on. It’s fun cooking!!

Learn about their making process, visit an authentic factory, the production line, the gift shop where you can find unique products, other than Beer. Discover new beers made by Asahi with a Beer Tasting Session, all beers on tap (Juice available for kids), and snacks. Once we learned a lot about Japanese beer and how good it tastes, Let's all go for lunch and get a delicious and flavorful Yuzu Ramen (Japanese Citrus) and talk more about Japanese culture. Then, visit the Sakai City Craft Museum and discover what this city is famous for. Finally, get the privilege to step into a real knife factory, with over 100 years of history, where the raw blades arrive directly from the Blacksmith. Visit the Sharpening Station and the main office. Observe the blades being turned into proper handmade cooking knives. Learn and practice the traditional Sharpening technics with a professional and get the chance to order your own customizable knife that you can watch being made in front of you. Isn't it amazing?.... Sakai is the birthplace of Sen no Rikyu, the man who developed the famous tea ceremony as part of Japan's traditional culture. There are many tea houses located all over the city. Also, numerous shops are selling tea leaves, utensils, and Japanese sweets, which are indispensable for the tea ceremony. Sen no Rikyu was active more than 400 years ago, but his influence is still immeasurable today. This tour focuses on the life and achievements of Sen no Rikyu and traces the origins of the Japanese tea ceremony and tea culture. It also introduces you to the way tea is enjoyed in Japan today. This tour will surely make you fall in love with Japanese tea even more.

Your guide will pick you up at JR Suita Station by car and will take you there and guide you inside the mall, depending on what you want to do, to find, to buy and to eat. He will stay by your side and translate everything you want to make your shopping session as easy as possible and enjoyable. At some point, when you're hungry, you will go to the "Food Court" for lunch for regular Japanese life experience and get the meal and food style of your choice. Once you finish your lunch, feel free to get back to your shopping session or ask your guide to go home.
