Learn about the history and culture of the Mayan people, with free time to photograph the ruins before leaving the site.

Continue to the Mexican Caribbean in an air-conditioned vehicle. Get fitted with snorkeling gear, and slip into the water to swim over the coral reef (the fee for Conservation of the Marine Fauna is not included in this tour, and must be paid during the tour).

The afternoon is all about the natural world: follow your guide into a cave that’s bristling with stalagmites and stalactites, then take a walk through the jungle, listening to a forest chorus of tropical birds and animals. The Absolute Best!

I can't say enough about this excursion. Alejandra and Julian have got to be the BEST guides ever. Not only were they knowledgeable about every question asked on the tour, they were FULL OF FUN! From the ruins, to snorkeling, to the caves they made sure that the entire group was upbeat and full of energy which is totally needed on this full day excursion. They each pointed out all of the marine life you see while snorkeling, we saw stingrays and squid, and even NEMO AND DORY!!! I had the most amazing time on this tour and cannot wait to tell anyone who is visiting the Yucatan that they have to go on this tour, because they will not be disappointed!

Worth Every Penny!

This was exactly what we were hoping for. The driver (Fernando), our guide (Chema) and the photographer were all amazingly charismatic, positive and helpful. They provided cold drinks all day and snacks to keep our energy levels up. Our guide did a fantastic job by not only telling us about our excursion but also by answering any questions we had about the area and culture. The Tulum ruins were a blast from the past and a blast from the the Sun as it was a very hot and sunny location. Our guide (Chema) provided us all with umbrellas for personal shade and cold drinks. He also did a fine job preparing us for the etiquette expected while interacting with the Mayan descendants that host the tours at Tulum. After the ruins we were able to cool off after a short right to the beaches below the ruins. There we were given a quick tutorial on how to use the snorkeling gear then we were off to swim the coral with Rays and Turtles. The guides know exactly where to take you so you get an amazing experience just like we had with the sea life. After a healthy amount of time in the water we made our way to the “Xtun” cenote where we were fed the best meal I’ve had so far on our trip to Quintaran. Authentic Mexican food that was unlimited and delicious. The hibiscus water… I had atleast 5 glasses. So delicious! After our lunch we were able to relax in hammocks before heading down into the Cenote. This was the most unique experience and it felt like a true bonding experience with all included in the group. Our guide led the way as we explored the millions of years of history, making our way through the semi-flooded Cenote. Water shoes and life jackets were provided so we all felt comfortable and safe. If your guide asks if you want to do the “Mayan Sacrifice” you say YES and you take the plunge into the darkness!!! An experience like no other I’ve had. My last comment is about the professionalism displayed from the crew. Very organized, communicative and responsible. At one point during the trip another shuttle clipped our driver side mirror damaging the equipment. Instead of brushing it off like it was nothing, our driver made the call to get a replacement shuttle with a functional driver side mirror to help ensure everyone’s safety. I truly respect that decision and the maturity displayed by these men. Worth every penny I continuously verbalized as we made our way through the day. 10/10 Would recommend!

Marsela and all made the experience amazing. It was the little things the company provided like water and leavin stuff in the van, snorkel equipment and fotographer that made us feel comfortable eventhough we were experiencing something new. The best tour I have ever experienced. Joshua and Nathaly (San Diego, California)
