Our guide (Lorenzo) and the driver (Giovanni) were very polite, professional and knowledgeable. the itinerary and timing have been very well respected. Lorenzo gave a good overview of the locations and sites we visited. It was the right balance between "what I need to know" and too much historic details. Well done. The lunch at the vineyard was perfect. Surely there was a wine selling event - but that is part of the game. We bought some wine and olive oil which, by now, has been delivered to our home within the timelines indicated. No complaints. Obviously sites like Siena and San Gimignano require more time for an in-depth visit. But the tour provided a great overview and made us look forward to coming back for a longer stay.

This was the highlight of our trip to Florence! Lorenzo is a fantastic guide and him and Giuseppe made our experience wonderful! We were originally booked for the longer, larger tour but cancelled to switch to this more intimate tour and we are really happy we did that. Less wait times, crowds and the tour was only in English. It is worth the price difference IMO. There were 9 of us and Lorenzo pointed out all the best spots where we went to on our free time. Siena and SG are the places to buy souvenirs — much more unique ceramics and pottery. The winery is stunning and I don’t drink so I was a little worried but the food was great and I enjoyed myself. My husband said the wines were great. San Gimignano is the best! And make sure you go up to the Rocco — it is worth it! It’s a lot of steps so stretch in the morning! Lastly, I have a small bladder and there are no restrooms on the minibus but finding one once we arrived was easy. Just grab a coffee or a cold drink and use a restroom at the cafes. It was no problem at all.

Lorenzo is an excellent tour guide. Smart, funny, friendly, and caring. We had a great day. Be prepared for lots of walking and hilly terrain. Beautiful medieval cities filled with atmosphere and outstanding leather goods. Definitely a good choice!

My wife, daughter and I had a great time on this small van tour to see Siena and San Gimignano, which included a nice lunch at a Chianti winery in between. Alex was our fun and knowledgeable tour guide (and driver) as he shared history and facts along the way. Great tour and a nice day-trip from Florence! The meeting place for the tour was quite a walk from our downtown hotel, and not the easiest to find. The tour company does send very specific and helpful directions, but be sure to give yourself plenty of time to find the meeting point!

I love this tour, Alex was on time for pick up. He was very friendly and informative through the tour. This tour was my favorite in Italy. The two locations are so much fun and the wine tasting was a good time for lunch. We got homemade pasta so it was a surprise.

This tour had a good pace and was structured well. We were among 6 in a late model Mercedes van. The tour began with a 1 hour road trip to the furthest point, Sienna. The guide/driver took us on a one-way walking tour of the city, and during our free time he got the van to pick us up. Enjoyable lunch at a winery, followed by the trip to San Gimignani on the trip back to Firenze. The driver/guide Allessandro/Alex was excellent -- courteous, knowledgeable, safe. He took extra time to give us some Firenze restaurant recommendations for use after the tour.

Alessandro was an amazingly fluent and charming tour guide on an unusually weatherly day (hail and sleet!). Our group was just 3 but he gave us a comprehensive education on both cities we visited, Sienna & San Gimignano. We all agreed that it was the perfect amount of time on our own to explore and following him pointing out things we might have missed independently. Bravo Alessandro!
