This Grand Canyon Jeep tour begins with hotel pickup in the town of Tusayan, Arizona, then travel to Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim.

Explore the South Rim, traveling along Rim Trail, a 13-mile road between the South Kaibab Trailhead west to Hermit's Rest. Admire the dramatic rock formations, canyons, and cliffs while learning about the area’s history and geology. Take pictures at scenic stops like Bright Angel Trail, Yavapai Point, Mather Point and finally, Grandview Point – at an elevation of about 7,400 feet, the highest point of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim.

At the end of the tour, receive a ticket to the National Geographic Visitor Center’s IMAX Theater to watch “Grand Canyon: the Movie,” an entertainment experience unlike any other. Being here, inside the movie, is as good as being there, in the Grand Canyon, with a screen that’s over six stories tall and 12,000 watts of earth-shaking, digital surround sound power. Attend the movie at any time that is convenient, during normal operating hours.

When you arrive, hop in a jeep for your fun 2-hour trail-blazing adventure! Relax as your guide drives you along the top of the rim, meandering between the area’s majestic-looking rock formations. Peer down into the depths of the Grand Canyon, and gaze at the Colorado River framed by towering limestone and sandstone cliffs. As you travel, enjoy photo stops at panoramic vantage points and chat with your guide about the South Rim’s topography and geography.

Hearing the stories, legends and historical background added to the color of the Grand Canyon. My only regret was not asking our tour guide to take a group photo of us with the Grand Canyon in the background and with the Pink Jeep. I also regret not writing down which scenic points were on our tour. Overall, it was a wonderful and fun experience. (Brad, can you email me which points you took us to? SAM IS PHENOMENAL. Incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun!! Very attentive to his group, encouraged open dialogue, and great with a camera phone. We felt completely immersed in the history, flora, and fauna of the GC. He made it so much more than the "ooh ahh," sights that we would have done on our own. Thanks Sam!!!

Had I known it was just driving around the park I would not have booked the tour. We drove in and stopped at most of the viewpoints when we arrived in the park. The tour only stopped at two viewpoints and the remainder of the tour was just driving through it. For us it was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend it.
