Private Tour:Ring of Kerry,Kerry Cliffs, starting in (from) Killarney

Tony was our tour guide for the day and he was so Informative, witty and passionate about his job. He took us off the ring to explore beaches and even a chocolate factory. The Kerry cliffs was beautiful and we were so happy we stopped. We were glad we hired a private guide for the day even though it was a little pricey but well worth it. The streets are even more narrow than usual and Tony knew all the back roads. Really enjoyed our day with him.

Our travel guide was Peter. Peter was professional, informative, knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend Peter and this tour.

Do yourself a favor and book this trip! I was torn on how to spend our time in Ireland because we didn’t have many days. This was our favorite day. Peter was SO awesome! He took us everywhere we wanted to go and helped guide us to places we wouldn’t have thought to stop. He never rushed us. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We spent 10 hours with him - only because we kept him that long. Ha! He was totally fine and happy to keep stopping for us though, and I can’t thank him enough for helping my family make such great memories in the little time we had in beautiful Ireland. To name just a few places we saw - Valentia Island, Kerry Cliffs, Torc Waterfall, Mucross House and Gardens, Cahergall Fort. I can’t stress enough, if you’re not sure if you should book this or not - do it!!

A true VIP experience! Tony was an absolute gentleman- I am so glad he was my tour guide and partner for the day! A day of great conversation and experiences. There is no way I would have seen some of the sites on my own. Tony gave me a day that I will always treasure and I thank him for that.

Excellent tour. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the tour truly memorable and enjoyable. Pickup and drop-off were both efficient and our guide was very flexible. Water was also provided. Do bring and wear stuff suited to the largely unpredictable Kerry climate - one moment you may need sunscreen and sunglasses and another you may need rain ponchos and wellies! We saw a lot and had a really wonderful time. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent private tour with Peter on 8/23! My friend and I were visiting from California and decided to splurge on a private tour so that we could skip the mega bus during Covid. We also wanted to go to the Kerry Cliffs, which the bus cannot get to...It was SO worth every penny! Peter was just so informative on so many things. I didn't want to just see the sights, but also wanted background info and special knowledge on what we were seeing and Peter had all of that in spades. By doing the Ring of Kerry in the opposite direction than the Mega Buses go, we were able to avoid lots of the crowds. We were blessed with gorgeous weather and when we got to the Kerry Cliffs we were in awe - I can't believe how many people miss them entirely when they visit. It was just breathtaking. Peter always checked in with us and made sure if we wanted a coffee or lunch that we were taken care of...I really trusted him on the drive as well which takes a good level of driving skill. We cannot recommend Peter and this tour enough! We came back to CA still dreaming of everything that we saw that day - just magical!

The Ring of Kerry is spectacular in and of itself, but having a tour guide like Piotr truly made for a memorable experience. His knowledge of the history and evolution of the land and people, as well as the local lore, was outstanding. And he was so willing to tailor the tour, stopping only where we wanted and for as long as we wished, made for a perfect day. And he made us all anxious to return to Ireland soon. Five stars all the way around.

This is some of the most beautiful coastline views. Yes, the clouds can sometimes hamper, but if you are patient you will get to see eventually. Although we rented a car to drive around Ireland, this is some very harrowing windy, narrow roads with hairpin turns. Dan was a great driver and guide. He showed us all the highlights on the ring of Kerry and gave us history and background to learn about them. He also made some great recommendations for where to stop on our next drive. It was so nice to go off season when the ring road wasn’t clogged with busses-it was even worth putting up with the cold wind and rain. I highly recommend doing this day trip from Killarney.

William was great. He showed us about as much as it was possible to see on a late November day. His knowledge of the area's history and culture added significantly to the experience.

What an exceptional tour of the Ring of Kerry provided by Ted. He was amusing, always with a fun Irish story. A challenging drive on winding roads that Ted rode with ease and confidence. He went out of his way to show us every exceptional view on the Ring as well as on side roads. There is no way a large tour bus could have given to us a more spectacular. He knows the Ring. If you come to Ireland and you wish to tour the Ring of Kerry if you do not have the pleasure of Ted Kennedy providing this service you are missing out.
