We took the sunset tour. It was amazing. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to land down by the side of the river where we had food and champagne waiting. The views were incredible. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Definitely take this tour.

Waste of time money and your trip

We booked the sunset tour with the champagne and snacks. We were supposed to leave around 2:45 for our tour. They called us to be picked up 2 hours earlier (another couple was added to our pickup). At the landing strip we waited about an HOUR. Asking what was going on the other couples departed (including the ones who got picked up with us) and we were there alone for 30-45m. Turns out there was a mechanical issue, yikes! We didn’t end up going anyway because it took so long and wasted 4 hours of our short stay here. Luckily we got a refund.

This was our first time in Las Vegas and our first time flying in a helicopter ... The Grand Canyon is amazing, beautiful and we were so impressed. The pilot 👩‍✈️ Kyley was an incredible professional and is also very nice, We felt very safe with her as a pilot and she made us feel very good with her humor and good character

Our pilot, Jeremy, was awesome. My elderly parents were on the tour with us and he was patient with them. He did a great job giving background of the views and giving us guidance on where to look and where to get pictures after we landed. The picnic basket with snacks and champagne was an awesome treat! worth every penny!

Our experience was great! We got picked up in the lobby of our hotel by a shuttle bus and taken to the take-off site. After we checked in and watched a safety video, we were off! Josh was an amazing pilot, while we were flying, he told us some history/fun facts and had a pretty awesome playlist going on that I really enjoyed. Once we landed, we had about ~30-40 minutes to take pictures and enjoy our champagne toast + picnic basket goodies and then we were off right on time to catch the sunset. I highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience!!! It was amazing!!!

My husband & I took this tour for our 20th anniversary, & now I want to take every possible landmark tour by helicopter, lol. The transport to/from the hotel was seamless. Our helicopter pilot, a young man from Norway (I wish I remembered his name!), was friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great playlist going in your noise-canceling headphones ,and the pilot will pop in from time to time with info about various landmarks you pass during the flight. You will get a nice view of the Hoover Dam & Lake Mead, and you get a fantastic bird's eye view of a significant expanse of the Grand Canyon. When you land in the little bluff, there are multiple other helicopters with you, but there is lots of room to move about and get some great pics. They give you a little snack (apple, crackers, granola bar) and some champagne, which is nice, but I mention it for those who may have thought they get a light lunch, so eat before your trip! You are on land for about a half hour, then you make your return trip. That would be the only thing I would change: I REALLY wish I could have stayed down there for an hour. So, in conclusion: This trip is perfect if you don't like crowds and you want a unique perspective of a natural wonder. Absolutely Priceless.
