This sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. Make the trek east in an air-conditioned, luxury motor coach, passing through the Mojave Desert and the Black Mountains and Grand Wash Cliffs of Arizona along the way.

Arrive at the Grand Canyon National Geographic Visitor Center for lunch (if upgrade selected) and souvenir shopping, then proceed to Grand Canyon National Park for several hours of exploring at the South Rim. Make scenic stops at Bright Angel Lodge, one of the original hotel destinations at the Grand Canyon South Rim and Mather Point, with the most popular overlook and trails lining the edge of the canyon. See the widest and deepest point of the Grand Canyon at over 8,400 feet deep and 21 miles across.

Upgrade to include the most-watched movie in IMAX history, 'Grand Canyon Discovery and Adventure,' and/or a guided Jeep tour along the rim, complete with stunning views and an education on the canyon’s history, geology, and wildlife. Another option would be to take a scenic helicopter flight over the South Rim of the canyon (this replaces the visit to Mather Point).

Long long drive
May-D
, Jul 2021
Our drivers were very nice and professional, our driver was from Michigan very nice, polite and funny but the tour itself was very very disappointing we were driving more than being in Grand Canyon. We barely seen anything. Drove for 5 hours each way and stayed there for just a little over 2 hours . Lunch and restrooms break between them. Left at 8:10 from Las Vegas we were at Grand Canyon view about 2:00 pm and left at 4:15, we Will not recommend and will not do this tour in the future! My teenagers boys did not like the long long drive!

Beautiful Scenery-Great Tour Guide
Rhonda_B
, Jun 2021
I really enjoyed our tour guide Coach Ed. He made the trip memorable by sharing details of local areas during the drive and at each area esp the route 66 landmarks. He worked very hard in ensuring we all had a great time. The pick up and drop off was seamless. The only reason I did not give a 5 start was due to the bus. The seats are very small, There is no where to put your arms, my grandson, who is a little tall at 5'11 had his knees in the back of the seat in front of him for 4 hours minus the very frequent stretch breaks, which were greatly appreciated. The ride is 4 hours each way and you basically only get a photo op at each location they stop at. If you are wanting to do more than take a picture of the grand canyon, this may not be the best option for you. One stop is 30 minutes and one is around an hour.. no real time to explore..

Would not recommend this tour.

First the driver was an hour late, leaving the group in 100° heat. Every stop took longer to get back on the bus. We only had 50 minutes at the Grand Canyon. The tour was supose to be in English. We has a Mexican driver that spoke broken English. And got back 1 hour and 15 minutes late.

Dear Thomas, On behalf of everyone at Gray Line Las Vegas, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your day with us more. Yet, I think it is important to point out that your day didn't really play out as you indicated. While we were a few minutes late for the hotel pickup, it was not an hour and you certainly spends more time (a lot) at the Grand Canyon. We do want to wish you all the best in your future travel experience. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service.

Grand Canyon

You will need to call the day prior to get your pickup time and location. We were picked up on time from a hotel near ours on the strip at 7:35 am. We were the last to be picked up and the last to be dropped off at 10:00 pm that evening. The lunch is a choice of personal pan pizza, pasta or premade sandwich with choice of side which is chips, cookie, side salad, yogurt, or pasta salad and a drink. There are 2 stops to view the canyon and they are each about 45 minutes in length. The remainder of the tour is spent traveling on the bus. The views are incredible. Our driver was Lucien and he was very knowledgeable but also very ready to retire from this gig as he let us all know several times. He drove us the majority of the day and a relief driver named Ashley was the driver for the last couple hours of the trip. She was very nice but stayed on the phone talking to a coworker driving the bus behind us for the entire duration of the drive. They were talking about their personal lives without any discretion. She honked the horn and cursed at other drivers on the strip during drop offs. Not professional at all. This tour was inexpensive overall and I guess you get what you pay for.

Disappointed but satisfied

The bus was NOT luxury. Tight leg room for average person. Disappointed with no stop at Hoover Dam. I should have been informed ahead. Happy with both drivers, Tony and Ashley. Ashley did great when we blew a tire. Overall satisfied but will make sure I have better company for tour next time.

We are sorry that we missed your expectations on our coach, yet most people find our modern coaches to be first rate.
