This sightseeing tour to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. Hop aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach equipped with reclining seats and large windows. Then make the trek east, passing through Joshua Tree forests and the Mojave Desert, and past the beautiful Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon.

Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon, enjoy hours of self-guided exploring at the West Rim. Hike to the Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks to take in the amazing views. Visit the Hualapai Ranch for a wild west show and enjoy a delicious hot lunch available from a variety of different outlets (included in tour price). There are many options and a variety of exciting possibilities.

There are also two upgrades to consider during this time frame. First, consider adding a thrilling walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Secondly, there's a stunning helicopter/boat ride. Lift off high above the canyon in a helicopter, then swoop down between its walls and land on the canyon floor. Walk around, get an up-close look at the many layers of the interior of the canyon and gain an even greater appreciation of the immensity of this natural wonder. Additionally, enjoy a pontoon boat ride along the Colorado River, looking up at the canyon’s many beautiful colors and stunning rock formations.

Don't recommend. Not 12 hours.
Giovanna
, Jul 2021
Grand Canyon is just amazing! So perfect. Although, the whole experience from the bus stop to get there and to come back was stressful. The bus is never on time. I was supposed to get to the bus at 7:05am because we were supposed to leave just after. We left at 7:35. Then we went to another stop and everyone was so not polite. Screaming and talking loud at this time. The way back was more stressful because the bus was so hot, I was sweating and was super uncomfortable. Also, We were supposed to leave at 13:35. I had to run to get there on time but it took so long for the driver to open the bus, and also there was a family who was shopping and the driver simply didn't do anything. We had to wait for them to finish, and we finally left at 14:05. Thirty minutes later as we were supposed to. It says 12 hours but it's not!!! It's 3 hours to get there, 3 to come back and 3 spending time there. If you want to explore, maybe you should consider take your car or renting one, next time I will.

Helicopter tour was awesome but the rest was rushed.
Lisa_P
, Jul 2021
I upgraded for the helicopter tour and and pontoon experience and was rushed through the rest of the activities. If I would have known that I may have skipped the sky walk to have more time exploring the Grand Cayon. By upgrading, I expected a luxury experience. The rest of the tour people who did not upgrade had more time to enjoy the Canyon.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2021
Dear Lisa_P, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and bringing the issues you experienced during the tour to my attention. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line Las Vegas I want to apologize that you felts you were unable to do everything you wanted at the Grand Canyon. While the bird's eye view one gets from a helicopter is amazing, it is a shame that it caused you feel you did not get to experience every thing there is do at the West RIm While it is unfortunate that you experienced delays and wait times at Grand Canyon West, the operators of this area of the Canyon, do not require reservations for individuals or groups wishing to visit this spectacular location and on rare occasions visitor numbers can exceed forecasted expectations. The Hualapai Nation, the native American tribe whose land the West Rim in on, uses both historical information as well as well as information from tourism authorities in Nevada & Arizona to try to forecast visitors. Normally, this works quite well and nearly 4 hours our guests are at the Canyon allow for more than enough time for visitors to do everything at the West Rim, however the pandemic has made forecasting less accurate. We are sorry that this affected your enjoyment of the day. In closing, I want to again apologized for the time issues and I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service
