Very disappointing! Great way to get around but sadly the recorded audio was mostly music. They could’ve been giving us cool information and history at all about New York City. Instead we listened to songs about New York. Especially being pre recorded there could have put a lot more effort into their info.

Multiple unfriendly drivers who wouldn’t answer questions. I understand NYC is known for its rude people, but when you’re overpaying this much for a service, drivers who pull over and turn the bus/lights off without explaining why, they should at least be willing to tell you where to get on the next BigBus. The man who helped us get our tickets was helpful and it was a breath of fresh air to talk to someone nice in the city! The experience would have been improved by a map of the city showing how to get to points of interest from the bus stops.

I loved being able to see all the different parts of town easily. The problem was the busses only ran from 10 to 5 and the uptown bus only ran every hour. So we did uptown first and then didn't give us time to hop of at central Park and Rockefeller and have time to see everything on the downtown bus and hop off to see Chinatown and 9/11. Wish the busses ran later so you could see the city all lit up and have more time for the price. We had to skip some sights because of limited bus time.

I would never buy a tour before I go to NYC from big bus again !!! They don’t answer phone and they don’t tell u where to go to get on the bus and no one know as we looked for over 2 hours all in Times Square n around!!!! U can also get the same tour for 29.95 from another tour bus that is visible all around… I lost $87 on this and that took away my 1st ny experience!!!! 10 thumbs down 👎🏼 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼!!!

I love taking the Big Bus Tours when I visit new cities. It's an economical way to see tourist attractions and great transportation to get to different neighborhoods. New York is a different kind of experience because of the stop and go traffic. You need a lot of patience. Unfortunately, it rained and we sat downstairs where you can't see much. It might be best to not buy the tickets ahead of time since you really need nice weather to enjoy.
