Food good/tour meh
Liz_H

We were excited for a food tour having been on some great ones previously. This tour seemed to be more about obscure facts and history than the food. The food was wonderful but a lot of standing around waiting and listening to poorly delivered information.

Thank you for joining us. I apologize that while the food met your expectations, the rest of tour the did not, which is very different than our other reviews. Could you call me at 415-665-0480, email me at tmedin@sffoodtour, or message me through Viator? I‘d like to find out what parts of the tour were not outstanding and ensure that all parts of the tour are great.

Isabella was such an awesome tour guide. The whole tour was amazing. I’m glad we booked the tour because I wouldn’t have enjoyed as much just walking it by ourselves.

Brian from Local Tastes of the City Tours was a great raconteur and had a wealth of knowledge about not only the hidden food delights of Chinatown, but also of the history, architecture and culture of the city of San Francisco. The food was great and the stories and people amazing. We highly recommend this tour !

Cynthia provided us with a tasty food tour that included history of Chinatown, and some of the Chinese Culture in the area. We enjoyed it so much we went back 2 more times for dinner. She kept a good walking pace, engaged with all the participants and provided a fun time.

Our guide, Isabella, was fantastic! The tour was complete with tasty food, neat shops, and historic landmarks. She did a great job sharing information, and making sure everyone was well attended to. A highlight was definitely the tea shop. We highly recommend the tour and Isabella.
