Great family trip

Wonderful hike but it isn’t easy. You’re actually on a trail through the jungle and accompanying mud. You are rewarded with amazing waterfalls, natural water slides, and cliff jumping. Wear good water shoes or tennis shoes because the mud will suck them off your feet. The guides were friendly and made sure everyone had a great and safe time. Another plus is there aren’t any mosquitoes.

Felix, Elias and Mitchel our tour guides made it the best time. CHAN CHAN CHAN 🤣 as Felix would scream every time. These guys were amazing! I can’t swim to save my life but Mitchel, was there every time to save me🤣 they made us feel safe and we’re very outgoing. I would suggest asking for these guys personally as your tour guides if you choose to do this. 💯 recommended from a non swimmer.

Franchesca and George were the perfect guides for this tour! They were both very engaging and fun to be around. We had a blast and are beyond happy. If you want to capture great memories of Puerto Rico's beauty and nature with some awesome moments of adventure, then this is your tour! 🇵🇷

20+ people in life jackets and helmets surrounded by other groups of 20+ people not wearing this gear surrounded by 20+ locals. The forest is beautiful and the swimming hole they take you to is beautiful however you just stand in line to jump off a cliff one time and swing on a rope or go down the water slide. It would be incredible if this were a secret spot only the locals know. Staff was really nice. ***you have to climb slippery wet rocks… this is not easy***
Exciting time in the rainforest!

The 3 guides were all awesome. They made this a family trip with a bus full of travelers. The hike was challenging. Ut worth the effort. The water slide, rope jump and cliff leap were all so much less intimidating because of the guides solid directions and assistance. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
A must do

Felix and the crew where such a blast! They had us laughing a ton. They did the perfect balance of entertainment, education, but also was able to reel it in and really hype on safety. We went in with minimal expectations and we came out recommending it to everyone at the wedding we went to the following day!

The absolute beauty of the rainforest, and sharing this experience with my family on this once in a lifetime trip will be memories that last a lifetime. The diversity of this forest and the tour guides passion and knowledge about this one of a kind forest was awesome. Definitely a very highly recommended tour!

This was a thorough excellent tour of El Yunque. Let me forewarn you that this tour is not for those weak in spirit. It requires physical stamina and will power. It is fun but not easy- particularly if you’re not used to hiking through slippery rocks, excessive mud, and wading through rivers. However the communion that you will have with nature is beyond rewarding. George and Jaime were amazing tour guides. I am in my mid 40s in average shape and was accompanied by my 19 and 7 year old. Both guides were very attentive and made sure that we all made it through safely and had fun. I highly recommend this tour if you are up for adventure. Strongly recommend hiking boots and wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting really dirty. You must be willing to be one with the mud!
A must do. So much fun

Great experience! Frankie, Chris, and Mitchell were friendly and engaging guides that made our adventure of mud hiking, rock scrambling, and water fun both exciting and safe. We absolutely loved the natural water slides and jumping from a 20 ft cliff into a natural pool (and I’m afraid of heights!). Beautiful landscape that we were thrilled to experience. Definitely wear closed toe shoes that you don’t mind getting super muddy (like water shoes). Big thumbs up!

This was really fun! At first we were intimated by how much hiking it actually was but It turned out to be fine. I’m average build and I don’t really workout so I was able to do It just fine. We had on full gear which was a nice safety measure I noticed other tours didn’t have. Franchesca was really nice and took good pictures and videos of us which was really great because we didn’t have our phones but wanted to make sure we captured the moments! Elias and George were really helpful too with guiding us and lifting us up when we were have a little difficulties. I definitely recommend this tour and I would do It again!
We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.
