An amazing waterfall tour but go prepared! (For getting wet and wear good hiking shoes)

Great tour. Small stop at a bakery on the way to the forest, and a stop afterwards for lunch. Isaac is a great tour guide, friendly and informative. The hike to the waterfall was a bit nerve wracking, because its rocks that are at the edge of a stream and it rained heavily too so was a bit slippery. I would not take younger kids under 9 or 10. Definitely no toddlers, you can't carry kids and clamber the rocks on this hike safely. The trail is not flat and a lot of it is over small umeven rocks for a lot of it. *Make sure you wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet in (swim.shorts etc) and highly recommend to wear hiking shoes with a great grip!* also put ur phone in a zip lock bag cos its likely going to get wet. The last hike over a large rock is right at the edge of the waterfall and probably the more difficult one.. But Isaac was great in helping all the way. But when you come around that last rock, you see the Incredible majestic waterfall and its all so worth it! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Breath taking We would definitely do it again.

Best Part of our trip

I can't say enough good things about this excursion! Every part of the trip was perfect- and don't say that lightly. Our guides Jesus and Jerry were communicative leading up to the hike- confirmations, pick up was right on time. Jesus was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor which kept our group engaged for the duration of the hike. The hike itself was AMAZING. The trek was challenging in a good way. And the time spent at the waterfall was just right. I'd book this tour again in a heartbeat. We went with our 8 year- so little kiddos can join the fun too. Thanks so much for a fun filled Saturday adventure!

It was a cool experience. Its very intense so be prepared to climb hike and sometimes crawl. Its about 2-3 hours of physical work but in the ending the waterfall was beautiful. Lunch is really good too. About $15 each.

The Hike to waterfall

Isaac was our tour guide. He was very nice knowledgeable and personable. He made everything sound easy. The trip up the mountain was daunting but when we reached the waterfall it was well worth it. The climb down was a lot easier then going up. Even though it seem overwhelming at first me and my husband are glad we did it. Thank you Isaac.

Excellent tour guide (Jerry)

We had a great time. Tour guide Jerry was a wonderful gentleman to get along with. He was communicative, funny and kept on sharing a lot of valuable information about the island. He is knowledgeable too. The hiking was adventurous since it involves climbing on rocks that are not comfortable for hikers without equipment. Jerry helped each one of us while climbing those harder points. He made sure that everyone is safe and comfortable. We stopped at a local restaurant after the hike, and the food was ready when we went there! I highly recommend this tour even though it is not in the El Yunque rainforest.
