This activity will end right where it started.
Your aerial adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel and a transfer by 4x4 to the launch site, where you’ll have chance to watch the balloon being inflated. After a safety briefing, hop aboard and hold on tight as you take off and float up high into the sky.

Look down over the rolling hills of the Loire Valley as you soar overhead and snap photos of the patchwork of vineyards, orchards and forests, stretching along the banks of the Loire River. While in the air, listen to your pilot’s commentary as you fly over the over the Loire, Indre or Cher Valleys, then swoop over magnificent châteaux like Villandry, Amboise or Chenonceau, and watch the sunrise or sunset over the Loire.

As you come in to land, a glass of champagne and a personalized flight certificate will be waiting for you. After celebrating your safe landing with a toast, hop back in the 4x4 and end your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.

We got up at 5:30AM and met our tour in a campground when it was still dark. Watched them blow up the balloon and attached the basket. When we landed we where met with a champagne celebration!

Dear Mr. Rodiriguez, Thank you for your message, although I am not sure I understand the exact meaning... Wednesday 18/05 morning, we made a superb flight with 2 balloons from Amboise where successively we flew over the Royal Castle of Amboise, Le Clos Lucé (Leonardo da Vinci's house), then the Castle Gaillard (Charles VIII's house) and saw from further away the Castle of Arpentis and the Pagoda of Chanteloup. In total, we were able to observe 5 major buildings of the French History (my passengers were witnesses of it with photos). Then the flight continued and we crossed the Royal Forest of Amboise at more than 3000 feet to allow us to go to the Castle of Chenonceau (Ladies' Castle and property of Catherine de Medici). We landed after crossing the Cher River a few hundred meters from the Chateau de Chenonceau property that no one could miss. I sincerely regret that you did not know how to take advantage of all this perhaps by simple ignorance. Your very sincere aeronaut, Nicolas Rodier p.s.: I'm sorry I can't add more photos, because this one alone speaks for itself. Cher Monsieur Rodiriguez, Merci pour votre message, même si je ne suis pas certain de bien comprendre le sens exact... Mercredi 18/05 matin, nous avons réalisé un superbe vol à 2 ballons au départ d'Amboise où successivement nous avons survolé le Château Royal d'Amboise, Le Clos Lucé (Léonardo da Vinci 's house), puis le Château Gaillard (Charles VIII's house) et vu de plus loin le Château des Arpentis et La Pagode de Chanteloup. Au total, nous avons pu observer 5 édifices majeures de l'Histoire de France (mes passagers en ont été témoins photos à l'appui). Puis le vol continua et nous traversâmes la Forêt Royale d'Amboise à plus de 3000 pieds pour nous permettre de nous diriger vers le Château de Chenonceau (Château des Dames et propriété notamment de Catherine de Médicis). Nous nous sommes posé après avoir traversé le Cher à quelques centaines de mètre de la propriété du Château de Chenonceau que personnes n'a pu manquer. Je regrette sincèrement que vous n'ayez pas su profiter de tout cela peut-être par volonté de simple ignorance. Absolutely amazing experience!! Super professional and very friendly team. I loved that the basket was quite big which made us feel more secure. It was amazing that we could purchase pictures and videos of us on the flight taken by a drone and it was a fair price everyone was able to afford 😊👌 (not like in the States 🙄where they charge $50 for a single picture in front of a backdrop at the Empire State Building 🤦🏻‍♀️). We cannot recommend this experience highly enough!! Absolutely loved every second of it 💖

Excellent. It was my dream come true. The trip was great and the attention perfect. We tried before in Turkey but the climate wasn’t good so We couldn’t go. That was three years ago. Now everything was perfect. A trip with my daughter. It’s a little bit cold up there so take a jacket with you.

We scheduled an evening flight but weather conditions were not good so we were offered a morning flight. It was great. The pilot got us off the ground smoothly and back to the earth in one piece. Absolutely fantastic. Other members of my family have already signed up for a flight in a couple of weeks.

We really enjoyed our experience and it was a highlight of our time in France. There was inclement weather so the flight was delayed by one day however the tour operator provided updates via email and by contacting the hotel lobby staff and were very professional. We highly recommend this tour and this company.

We enjoyed much from the event Kevin was a wonderful pilot. Our (7) young daughter loved the experience. The event started just on time. Organization was perfect. It is so exciting to see how the balloon gets its hot air, 5 ppl in a balloon plus pilot. Flight takes an hour. However preparations of before flight and after flight requires a total duration of 3 hours. You know where you begin and do not know where you land, but rest assured the team will follow the balloon and come over to take you. End of flight you receive a certificate which is also cool 😎

This was a bucket list booking for us. However we missed the sunrise as 2 people turned up 20 minutes late. Otherwise it was very nice with beautiful views and we had great Hot Air Balloon weather. My negative was that the pilot did not offer any commentary or point out any sights and therefore the trip was in silence most of the time. Silence is also good for such a peaceful sailing but some commentary or points of interest would have been helpful. We also thought we would be flying over a number of chateaux but this was not the case. Overall it was very nice but I feel the cost outweighed the experience.

This was a SUPERB experience which i would highly recommend. Nicholas and his team were so professional and engaging and we had the most enjoyable time as a family. We have done hot-air ballooning in South Africa and can say that this was far far better !! Nearly landing in Mick Jaggers Chateau gardens was a highlight ! A must do when in the Loire Valley/Tours area. The staff were very nice and the balloon ride was smooth, relaxing, with beautiful views. They served champagne when we went up. Keep in mind they will ask for sown help setting up and packing up after but it doesn't take long and was part of the fun!
